An den Kugeln kann man die Finger nicht wie an einer Klimmzugstange einfach &#8222;einhaken&#8220;, sondern man muss mit den Fingern und dem Daumen sehr aktiv zugreifen, um den K\u00f6rper vom Boden zu bekommen. Der Effekt f\u00fcr die Unterarmmuskeln ist dabei umso gr\u00f6\u00dfer, je tiefer man versucht die Kugeln zu greifen. Kugeln mittlerer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe haben ca. 80mm Durchmesser. Wer sich zus\u00e4tzlich noch 100mm anschafft, ist bestens ausger\u00fcstet. Mit der Verwendung von Magnesia hat man dabei ein sehr angenehmes und griffiges Gef\u00fchl. Es sind daher nicht unbedingt Kugeln aus Kunststoff notwendig, auch wenn sie einen vermeintlich besserern Grip versprechen. Von Kugeln, in denen noch ein Relief f\u00fcr besseren Grip eingefr\u00e4\u00dft ist, ist aus unserer Sicht generell abzuraten.
